In May 2016, former participants of the Housing Program and current residents of the neighborhood approached the Family Center about wanting to create a neighborhood group. Together, they decided to rename the Olivette Park neighborhood to “Resurrection Park” and meet once a month to discuss and organize around issues that effect their lives and to plan social gatherings to build community with each other.
