This week’s Senior Program gathering brought the group back together for an afternoon built around good food and company. We started with fried chicken, which was served first, and it did not take long for the room to fill with conversation. Katie’s homemade cheesecake followed for dessert, and it was gone before most people could ask for seconds. Sarah Nash hosted the event, keeping the day organized while still leaving plenty of room for everyone to enjoy themselves. The afternoon ended with an intense game of bingo with a little friendly back and forth between rounds. It was great to see everyone again. Days like this are proof that connection does not ask for much. A full table and a little time together is always enough.
